Jujutsu Kaisen 0 - Haunted since his childhood friend Rika's death in a traffic accident, Yuuta Okkotsu cannot escape her ghostly presence. But Rika, once a sweet girl in Yuuta's life, manifests herself as a powerful and monstrous entity that violently protects him, leaving Yuuta helpless and unable to control her murderous tendencies. With the "Jujutsu" sorcerers, the world's secret guardians against the likes of Rika, hot on his trail, Yuuta wishes for nothing but total isolation to prevent further bloodshed.
However, his captor, the master sorcerer Satoru Gojou, has a different plan in mind. He wants Yuuta to join Jujutsu High School, where he can learn to harness the power of Rika while serving the greater good. Yuuta, now a first-year student, begins his training in Jujutsu arts, joining forces with his new classmates: Maki Zenin, an expert in Jujutsu weaponry; Toge Inumaki, a spellcaster who uses words as weapons, and Panda, a peculiar walking and talking panda. As he progresses, Yuuta finds his place in the world and finally starts to feel comfortable with his abilities. However, he soon discovers that the dangers of the Jujutsu world are far greater than wicked spirits.
